Knihovna Kromerizska Library Rules (Excerpt)

The library is established to provide equal access to the public library and information services stipulated in the library law for all and to ensure equal access to information and the cultural properties that are involved in the library holdings and in the library information databases.

The library provides services at the registered office of the organization: Slovanské nám. 3920, Kromeriz in section services, which are divided into: department for adult users, department for children and youth, music department and regional department and selected services in branches and branches in the local town sites.

User registration

A library user is a person or an organization which owns the valid library card on the basis of filling an application card and by authentication by a librarian according to identification card. An organization which wants to use the library services must have a written accredited agent.
Children and youths up to 15 years must show the written agreement of their parents or a legal representative on an application card in this department. Parents or legal representatives take on responsibility for the child in the department for children and youth.

Rules for lending

Documents are lent to users from library holdings as external loans or loans for in-house use:

  1. outside loan means to register a document in a cardholder account
  2. user can borrow 20 volumes of documents, 20 periodicals; 5 audiobooks, 2 DVDs, 10 CDs, 1 desk game.

Period of loans

The period of loan for lending is for books (documents), audiobooks, desk games one month; for periodicals one week, for CD, DVD two weeks.

Students, seniors 60,- CZK
Children to 15 30,- CZK
Users withouth user’s card
(only present service)		 15,- CZK
Seniors over 75 and handicapped people with the card „ZTP“ have registration without costs
